Patina Cuff Class with Tara Wilson~ Saturday, June 16th 11-3 $75.00
In this class the student will learn 4 methods to age or patina brass, 3 methods for adding color to the brass and how to set a rivet by hand. I will supply all the needed materials and have kits for the class plus extras to purchase. We get messy and work with paints etc so I suggest an apron or work clothes. If a student has a bench block and a small jewelry hammer they can bring them. I will have all the tools needed for students to share. I supply extra brass pieces for the students to experiment with patina and color before they begin their cuff.

Crafting Your Inner Pixie
In this class students will learn to sculpt paint, dress and finish a sweet miniature scale pixie from paper clay. Students will also craft a mixed media matchbox for the Pixie to live in when she's not on display. Price $75.00 including all supplies except paintbrushes (bring your own) and optional embellishments

Julie has been creating paper art for many years. She has recently published a new book "Collage Couture". Learn Julie's techniques for patterning, texturizing, antique-ing, and embellishing these beautiful tags. No more store bought tags! Nothing but custom art tags from here on in!
CLASS FULL!
I’ll share my techniques on how to create a glorious world of color with layers and dimension into special and unique storytelling journal pages.
You will learn how to incorporate bits from fashion magazines, your favorite images, wrapping paper, wallpaper and scrapbooking papers while using markers, gesso and paint to enhance. Doodling and incorporating special verses or poems will depict your unique signature! This class is a loose, technique-based course where I will demonstrate and also encourage you to choose from a variety of images to create a beautiful page unique to YOU!
You’ll need:
A journal in your favorite size (Spiral bound work great!) You may also bring thick paper to create individual journal pages on. Small 5x7 or larger sized 9x12 are all fun to play with. Choose what you’re comfortable with.
Watercolor or drawing pages are my favorite but any slightly thicker paper will do because we will be building papers on top.
Colored markers, fine tipped black marker, white gel pen
Your favorite scrapbook papers, vintage wallpaper (floral works best)
Stamp pads
Optional:
Magazines
Vintage children’s books
Your favorite inspiring images (pretty faces, birds, Paris monuments, flowers, etc.)
Stationery, cards, favorite ephemera
Glue – Fabric glue is the BEST for paper
Wider paintbrush – can be old, any will do
